I got up early today around 8am to go to the market, hoping to buy some fried potato balls. It was an extremely hot day, and after about an eight minute walk from the hostel, I arrived at the market. This time it looked much fuller than yesterday.
Unfortunately, I did not find what I was looking for. Instead, I ended up buying a coconut fried pancake for 15 baht. It did not taste very good, so I will not be buying it again.
I decided to skip lunch, but around 11am I was hungry again and went out to buy a packet of instant porridge with four sachets for 36 baht from 7 Eleven, along with a 10 baht instant noodle.
This was the first time I cooked my own food at the hostel. Jomstay Hostel itself is not bad, except the kitchen has no sink. All the washing has to be done in the toilet, which I am not very fond of.
Nothing much is going on here in Pattaya, so I will keep this short and simple.
Some travel days are not dramatic. They are just heat, small meals, and wandering thoughts. Even quiet days have their own texture.
Accomondation: AUD10 via Agoda
Breakfast: 15 baht cash at the market
